I agree that “given up” is a poor choice of words but it is a team that always looks defeated before they are. Again I don’t think they have given up but they sure play like they are defeated constantly.

While you are probably right, as we now have a 3% of making the playoffs but keep in mind football is still a business. If they started sitting players, fans would not be attendance.

Us fans have seen it for years, YEARS that McMoron has needed to go.
If he does it sucks that it took them this long and for this to have happened to have finally woken them up.
He was damn lucky that team which barely got in won the SB for his job security.
He has had all this time to get us to at least one more SB being on top as the Cheatriots do all the freaking time.
It is way past due for him to be shown the door.

When you are behind a team and the season is starting to be on the line and it's late in the 4th quarter with 4th and 2, you do not punt the ball back to the other team after they scored a winning TD on their previous drive.
That is what McMoron did against the Sea Chicks and if that is a great example showing this team giving up.
If the coach shows he doesn't care, then how are the rest of the players supposed to?
He needs to be a better leader than that.

Mondio its a lot of reason to say this team is not going all out to win or has given up. Ill give an example in this viking game when aaron jones gets the hand off and he gets stood up by defenders you can see packer linemen just looking at aaron jones pushing for more yards and they dont even help him push for more yards like dude HELP HIM, packer linemen just letting him get gang tackled and stood up. That 4th and inches like where is the push??? Josh jones and tramon williams OMG i have not seen safties that afraid of contact in my life, At least brice took his self out trying to make a big hit. Aaron Rodgers throwing the ball into the ground on that quick out, come on man he makes those in his sleep. Viking OLine is not that strong but we couldnt get no pressure, teams been sacking cousins all year long. This team is not behind MM no more, they dont believe in him and the play is showing.

I understand there is a lot of injuries but this defense isn’t any different than the last decade... lol fire EVERYONE our defense sucks.. lol plus McCarthy hired Pettine I bet they will and should clean the effing house.. lol The defense may be a tiny tiny bit better than last yr.. I don’t care about stats sacks or any other bs they suck! Absolutely blow!! Every player they have in defense sucks If it were this easy the only players I’d keep on this defense is Alexander even tho he got tiki torched all night Martinez least he can tackle Clark is fat and eats sometimes Daniels when he ain’t injured that’s it!! And so they do.

First of all, we don't have time to go through any adjustment periods. They have to get better now after all these losing years of PO games.

Agreed, MM needed to go for a while. Remember just last season? Without AR he is really sup par, and that should have shown everyone that he needed to go. No AR = a bad losing season. Hell, I'm sure he's the reason DC stuck around so long.

How did we manage to have winning seasons with Capers and now we are worse or more lousy without him but still with A-Rod?
I think there are a lot of factors and not just one and no one really knows what the root cause of them are.
All we can do is discuss, debate and give our opinions on them.
IMO both sides of the ball are lousy.

We had the lead in the Minny game and our defense didn't keep it while our O didn't expand it enough to win.
