We`ve sorted it in private, but I`d like to publically apologise to XPack for my touchy reaction. I apologise to you all for making the atmosphere bad for a while.

It takes a real man to post something like this, Bill. Thank you. "We're all in this together, so keep your stick on the ice."

It's all good. Let there be no more talk about this.

I owe buggybill a beer if and when I meet him (wearing a non-United shirt ofc) :)

There's one called Mad Hatter, I believe. My friend who was there recently had good stuff to say about that. Have you tried that?

Can`t say I have. There was one I loved but for the life I can`t remember the name of it. I remember they used raisins in the brewing process which gave it a kind of subtle fruity aftertaste. Sounds gross I know, but very nice. I was drinking a Christmas beer called "Plum pudding" in a Wetherspoons pub yesterday which reminded me of it.

Found the beer I was looking for. Cains raisin beer.

Sir, we have established rules in Beer Sport. No making fun of Liverpool beers. :D:roflmao:

But I agree... a bier with raisins sounds weird.

Ciders are open game... but not biers.

Just say United are a far better team than Liverpool and tag buggybill on it.

That should be worth 2 pints, I suppose! ;)

Aww dang it. I have to tell the truth, considering that I'm a man of the cloth and all. There goes my free pints.... :roflmao:

Don't tell me he's a Liverpool fan too! :(

Dang, I need to read the EPL thread more often.

No. He was talked into being an Everton fan would you believe ?? He is a sucker for the underdog. That's why he supports Bayern Munich too ;).

Who are you??? Welcome to Beer Sport whoever you are.

Buy me a real cider and I will see if you are correct. :D:p

You`ve obviously never been to Herefordshire then. I visited the cider museum in Hereford a month or so back and in the shop there I bought some of the old apple variety ciders, real old fashioned ciders. They were awesome. I agree totally about the newer style ciders which can be like lemonade at times.

You are correct sir, I've never been to Herefordshire. To be honest, I've never had a "real cider" from a handpump... only real ales. I'd love to try a real cider from a handpump, so I imagine I'll have to wade thru a swamp of shyte to get there and see what it's like.

^ and to be honest I've never been outside London. Probably a sin, but I wasn't impressed with London so I didn't venture out any further. Not even to Newcastle which team I loosely support.

Well, somebody better talk him out of it soon. Honestly, it's a boring team designed to be mid table forever. Definitely not an underdog.

Bayern on the other hand......
