Whoever our kickoff man is (Crosby i think?) I would call a dud. Seems to me, most every kicker can kick the ball into the stands but him. When Hester is back there i don't know why you'd do anything except boot it out of the endzone. Does he just have that weak of a leg?

They were doing directional kicks on purpose to limit a return. I don't think his leg is strong enough to kick it out of the endzone in the cold. Masthay's leg is a little stronger on kick offs, but I think McCarthy prefers the directional kicks over a kick that might not be a touchback and be very returnable.

Apparently the rule now is every part of the passer's body must be past the line of scrimmage in order to be an illegal pass. I heard they changed the rule so Mike Ditka would finally get over Don Majkowski.
