That was a critical stop
Or the defense needs to get back to "stone wall, slam the door" business. Which it sure looks like it did at the end of that last series.Dolphins starting to roll on offense. Our offense needs to keep rolling
He's definitely on to something, because how many years of this dung do we have to put up with? It's been like this for several years.I'm curious - how much oversight does LaFleur have on the defense? Because it seems like no matter which system of defense, no matter which philosophy, no matter who our defensive coordinator is....as soon as we get a decent lead we always turn ultra-conservative, ultra-soft on defense. Is this intentional, or...?
(Nice stand and sack there, but I still can't for the life of me understand why it seems like whenever we go up we suddenly tell our DBs to take a 15 yard cushion and just not give up anything behind or something)
Ok I’ll take thatOr the defense needs to get back to "stone wall, slam the door" business. Which it sure looks like it did at the end of that last series.
I know this isn't a popular position, but I really like Nixon and always have. I know he has a lot of weaknesses to his game, but damn... so many times, he seems to step up at just the right moment, when you're least expecting him.
Hercules cost us probably 6 more pts, I don’t like FG’sJenkins was spinning that guy like a rag doll. Gosh he’s strong!!
Way too many for my likingThese undisciplined penalties are going to cost us.
Don't know what Jenkins has been dealing with (by Seiler) all night...that's uncharacteristic for Jenkins so it's possibly justified? These undisciplined penalties are going to cost us.
We can maybe get away with that crap when we're 3 scores up on the Dolphins in the 4th quarter, but in the divisional round of the playoffs? That's the sloppiness that can end a sdeason early. These undisciplined penalties are going to cost us.
