I don't know if the credit falls to LeFleur, Hackett, Stenovich, or a combination of the three (most likely). However, we all need to recognize how well the Packers are making in-game adjustments to what defenses are throwing at them each week. A pessimist might say that the Packers are coming out sluggish. That may be part of it. However, the Packers have faced three good defenses in a row. All three put on early pressure, got sacks, and stymied the Packers offense.

Each week the Packers absorbed those punches and found ways to adjust as the games wore on. In years past, people on these forums have complained about the lack of adjustments. I think that LeFleur and his staff have improved (at least lately) in this category and are making nice adjustments to limit defenses as the games progress.

On this we can agree… for instance… they went in attempting to run the ball and adjusted to more passing based on what the defense was giving them. lol.

Agreed. They haven't been stuck in their game plans. A good coach/player in any sport recognizes that you should go in with a plan, but if the opponent takes that away, have another strategy or two in your hip pocket to figure out what does indeed work.

LeFluer's team seems to be doing that.

I agree the coaching staff has made nice adjustments during the games. For some reasons the scripted plays to start the game don't work well. There's room for improvement there.

Agreed. I think that many of the problems are in a young and out-of-place OL struggling at the beginning of games. To their credit, they are making changes to minimize the damage each game.

David Bakhtiari needs to be activated to the roster by Wed. 11/10 or else he's stuck on PUP for the season...so I envision him activated. Looking forward to him returning to game action some time in the next couple of games (before LA would be great). At this point, in your opinion, what would be the best OL combination moving forward (assuming Myers is out until late season/playoffs)? Mine is below...

LT - Bakhtiari
LG - Runyan
OC - Jenkins
RG - Patrick
RT - Turner

This puts Jenkins in the middle where he's had great success and also in postion to solidify the entire interior helping Runyan or Patrick on combo blocks. Also think Jenkins will help with blitz-pickup-calls better than Patrick is doing, which should give AR (or Love) a much cleaner pocket to work in.

Newman has been better than I would've ever thought in TC but he is the weak link right now, so he becomes a reserve, IMHO.

I'm always a fan of getting your best five out there, and having versatile guys like Elgton Jenkins and Lucas Patrick makes it possible. I would be fine with the lineup that you noted, as Newman is the weakest link. I think that the prevailing wisdom will put Jenkins back at his LG spot and maybe Runyan on the right if he is able to make the switch. That guy has already done more than expected though so who knows how much more potential he's got.

While certainly capable of playing RG I don't think he's played much, if at all, in GB. Patrick has considerable solid play at RG which is one reason why I had Jenkins going back to OC and sliding Patrick over to RG. Runyan was one of the highest graded on offense this week so I'd leave him at LG sandwiched between our 2 best OL's.

I would prefer the Packers to use the lineup below until Myers returns:

LT - Bakhtiari
LG - Jenkins
C - Patrick
RG - Runyan
RT - Turner

Agree with you. For my money, the center has a lot to do with how the guards perform. And I don't think Patrick is up to it. At least he is not a big positive. Jenkins would be more valuable there for us than at guard. imo

Has the activate BAKH clock started ticking yet? Have they put him on the 53 yet? I forget if the deadline was yesterday or today.
