I shouldn’t have underestimated Houston. They just shellacked LA. The only thing I like about it is I don’t like the Harbaugh Brothers. At least 1 is eliminated.

The Texans are all over the place this year. I can’t figure them out. They get crushed by the Vikings 7-34 but then Beat the Bills 2 weeks later. Then get beat by the Jets. Then finish losing 2 of the last 3 including being humbled by the 3-14 Titans in Houston, followed by the Ravens 2-31. Then they come out and wallop a good 11-6 Chargers team? What in the world.
And they should have beaten Detroit if Koo kicked like he did against most every other team.

Houston surprised most of us. Congrats to those who picked the Bolts.

It is a new season, and past performance is no indicator blah, blah, blah.

Apparently most of us misunderstood Houston. A part of why predicting the NFL based upon logic can be so frustrating.

Yeah and it wasn't even close. Houston didn't do a lot that was special on offense but they didn't have to. They avoided mistakes and capitalized on Herbert's INTs. Now I wonder how good this team is. They have impact players on both sides of the ball.

It's all about C.J. Stroud. If he has a hot hand, he's about as good as it gets. If he has a cold hand, they die in the first quarter. With their shortage of WRs, they rely on his ability to create completions with his feet. He's in the same category as Mahomes in that area of the game. Then there's his running ability. He ate the Chargers up on the ground on one particular play and it pretty much killed the Chargers.

Dang! I sure was wrong about the Packers coming out with something to prove. It was almost a carbon copy of last week.

The coaches and players need to do some soul searching in the off season and develop some better offensive game plans than run Jacobs up the middle. The Eagles knew exactly what they were going to do. I knew what they were going to do.

Agreed. And Philly really didn't have a good game, but they didn't need much.

The fact Philly knew where Jacobs was gonna run makes his performance even more remarkable. But why MLF didn't have plays to bounce him outside is beyond me.

The whole team needs to play with the intensity of guys like Jacobs and McKinney. I watched the Washington game right after the Packers, and the difference in energy and confidence between Daniels and Love was remarkable.

Gluten needs to do more this offseason than rebuild the CB group. Acquiring OL depth, a legitimate #1 WR, Edge rusher(s), and DL talent all have to be dealt with.

Love might look more comfortable, and MLF's game plans may unfold a lot better, with more impact players on O. And it's inexcusable that when Jenkins went down, his only viable replacements were two, late-round rookie guards. Depth is an issue.

Well a loss is no fun for anyone. A lot can be learned though, and that's about the best lesson from the game.

BFD,,,,,,what about your other picks? hahahahahaha!
Lol, I went for the underdog/road team in 5 of 6 games, and got 2 right. At least the Vikings lost to the Rams... which we both picked.... and the Rams scored 27, which we also both predicted.

Wildcard week 2025 is in the books. Team Ronny is leading the way after going 5-1 and getting a bingo score pick for big points. Calebs Revenge went a perfect 6-0 on his winner picks for second place points. DoURant also had a bingo for third place. Nicely done gentlemen. More entries and a tired inputter, so please check your scores and let me know if anything is not added up correctly. Hopefully I'm not too far off.
