I like these picks. The Rams are pretty amazing considering their 1-4 start. Different team now.
Cold weather in KC and Philly. Always cold in Buffalo. Commanders are probably glad they go indoors after a nice evening in Tampa.

That's right, gonna be a very cold weekend in the USA. Buffalo will be the worst. Kicking the ball is gonna be like kicking a concrete slab. And the ball, for some weird physics reason I don't understand, gets slick in severe cold weather.

Should be fun!

If it was still pigskin, it wouldn't be as slick in the cold!

I'm heading up north to ice fish Sunday-Thursday. I love these cold temps. I can't wait to take some cold hikes and split some firewood. It cracks apart when it's this cold out!

What are the balls made from. Leather? When did that change from pigskin?

I guess firewood would be easier to split if it's frozen. As for hikes, well just dress warm! Sounds like you know the drill.

I thought better of it to be honest. It was funny, but not really in good taste. With the rules on the board, I figured I should stick to them instead of stretching the issue. I don't like putting the moderators in a position where they feel they should say something. It was my own decision to remove it, and nobody said anything to me.
Yeah, I was totally 100% kidding and you could only kind of see some dangling things ahahahahahahhahahaha

I hope you have a great time in the outdoors my guy, but no hikes and ice cold weather Homie. You can find me on a beach in the Caribbean drinking a little my tire or some other other fruity beverage.

Big money , not in this contest. Interesting picks
The Commanders are the fickle finger of fate in all this. Of the teams in the postseason along with Denver they are one which you had to scratch your head the most. New coach, New QB, New philosophy. They are unpredictable in all phases. And it figures. This is the Hail Mary team of 2024.

Doesn't look like anybody had the Commanders upset. Kudos to DoUrant for coming close, sorta, 4 point win for the Lions. We all had the Lions winning, and commonly by two or more IDs.

What a perfect storm for Washington. Three pics of Goff, one for six, flawless execution by Daniels, and a Detroit D that was worse than most expected. Gotta wonder if the Lions were looking ahead a bit. I mean we always say this when there's an uneven matchup on paper and the fave loses. This game wasn't ever close.

For a rookie, the NFL doesn't seem to be too big for Daniels. He plays with a lot of poise. Who sez it takes an NFL QB 3-5 years to reach peak? Don't tell that to Daniels, or Burrows, or Jackson, or Allen. You listening Love? (OK, that's me being pissed off.)

Yeah how on earth did the Lions regress this year in the playoffs? 15 wins is meaningless. It's the SB that counts. And the counting goes on in Detroit.

All those injuries the Lions had. Gawd! They'll be better on defense next year. Offense? I dunno! I don't think Goff is that bad of a QB though. I'm totally amazed they didn't run the ball more yesterday. They were carving the Commanders up when they did. Coaching decision wasn't good, in my opinion. But then, it's just an opinion.

It's all about when you peak. The Lions did, the Commanders were still growing. Daniels is kind of amazing. He has a lot of poise for a first year player.

Defense, Defense, Defense.... giving up a lot of points, eventually comes back to haunt you. Buffalo and Washington both put up 40+ on them and came out victorious. With Ben Johnson's likely departure, this offense will probably regress some next year, but the Defense should be better with the returning injured players. The Lions will still be the team to beat in the North next year, but it sure will be nice to see their fans eating crow this week, after all their chirping about Super Bowls, along with spouting off about the Packers being 1 and done in the playoffs, this past week.

Yeah the Lions got a bit too aelf-assured, looking at 15-2 and saying "nothing wrong here." Not correct. The defense had a ton of injuries, the biggest being Hutchinson but there were many others. And defense wins playoff games - just look at KC this year. I don't think they scored 30 or more points in any game. And I lost count of the number od times they sacked Stroud yesterday.

The Lions will be alright. This is an experience none of the players will forget. Once the pain of the unexpected loss sets in, they will look at all that went wrong and correct for next season. The Lions will be relevant for a number of years.

And hats off to the Commanders and Jayden Daniels. I'd love to see a rookie QB win a SB. I don't think that's ever been done??????? Does anyone know?

Never been done. He looks fantastic and the Commander fans have to be very excited going forward. Daniel's got lucky though, that the Bears passed on him.

Never been done. Jayden Daniels is playing some darn good football for a Rookie, and the team is peaking at the right time, along with the Rams. I wouldn't be shocked if those two teams are playing against each other next week in the NFCCG. Eagles vs Rams should be a defensive battle today.

I don't know V, seems like their most impact full injures were on D and the D didn't turn the ball over 5 times. In the meantime, the CommodeDoors got the job done where the Pack didn't and I'm happy. The ***** fan base needed a slap in the face with the carp of reality.
