Never a fan of Rickles. Take him or leave him. Better in movies than on stage.I love(d) him and Rickles.

I got to see Rickles do his routine way back in the day. I thought his show would be spread out more unlike TV where he hit hard and fast. But no. He pointed it the entire hour.I love(d) him and Rickles.

I've been fortunate enough to see Bob Hope and Red Skeleton live.I got to see Rickles do his routine way back in the day. I thought his show would be spread out more unlike TV where he hit hard and fast. But no. He pointed it the entire hour.
Yes.I heard Rickles could be one of the most pleasant people you've ever met, when he wasn't working.
I believe he was in Kelly's Heroes.Never a fan of Rickles. Take him or leave him. Better in movies than on stage.
"The refrigerator." I shouldn't have been drinking coffee.
Wasn't he called Jack Derr years before? My idol that at 50 was a failed comedian who changed has routine to pick on himself.
When my Brother was in about 1st or 2nd grade, he was in a TV commercial with Red Skelton at the Johnsons Wax building in Racine, WI. My parents were there, and they said he was a genuinely nice person. After the shoot, he sat down for a cup of coffee and piece of kringle at a local cafe.I've been fortunate enough to see Bob Hope and Red Skeleton live.
Yes he was.I believe he was in Kelly's Heroes.
Yes, Red was a wonderful soul. Different from a lot of Hollywood. I always remembered that he ended his show with " May God Bless." Imagine how the heathens would react today if someone said that. When my Brother was in about 1st or 2nd grade, he was in a TV commercial with Red Skelton at the Johnsons Wax building in Racine, WI. EDIT: I forgot to mention that he liked it so much that before he left, he bought two kringles to take with him on his flight home from Chicago. He was a gracious person they said.
His "pledge of Allegiance" skit is phenomenal.Yes, Red was a wonderful soul. Different from a lot of Hollywood. I always remembered that he ended his show with " May God Bless." Imagine how the heathens would react today if someone said that.
