Just a guess, but he kicked in the second-most games (behind Mason) and has a higher percentage than Mason or the others already in the Packers HOF.

Longwell currently remains second in most points scored in Packers history. With other kickers having been inducted I don't have any issue with him being added.

Longwell made 24 out of 39 (61.5%) field goals from 50+ yards over his career. He was 13-of-22 (59.1%) in that category with the Packers.
