.......Matt LaFleur.

If we win, coach LaFleur wll pass Mike Holmgren and Mike Sherman for
the most wins for a first year head coach.

Go Packers !

20 More seconds of my life that I will never get back!

A suggestion to the OP. Instead of making endless random click bait titles and new threads that you seem to be oblivious to the fact that you are pissing a lot of posters off with.....make one thread. Maybe Title it .....

"WI Mike Now in Florida and his Random Rambling thoughts"

This will give posters a choice as to if they want to see your latest and greatest thoughts.

Sorry Mods to vent, but this guy needs to stop.

.....The Gipper? We’re in an election cycle, for some reason it just seemed appropriate.

While we're at it, let's add @PackinMSP to the list as well.

Is there a way to limit some posters' thread opening limit/privileges?

I'm not calling anyone specifically out, but to me the mods have gotten lazy. This forum used to be a lot tidier. This activity would have been shut down about 18 months ago. If they ever put up a "We're Hiring" sign I plan to apply.

Frankly, I prefer a more hands off approach. I don't think posts should be deleted or posters banned just because some people don't like what they say. If there's one thing that makes for lousy discussion, it's if everybody thinks alike. I'd rather see varying opinions, even if they're not popular.

I'm going to step up here and say that the Mods do an excellent job, especially considering their pay. ;) More on that below. I wasn't asking to get this guy banned, nor really a Mod to step in. My comment was more towards the poster and an attempt to see if I could wake him up and nudge him into self reflection. Maybe he would realize that what he does in here is not the "norm". Strictly my opinion of course, but seems like one shared by many.

I agree with you and I wasn't asking him to be banned. As I said above, I was hoping he would read my comment and self police himself. I believe in free speech and if the guy wants to speak that is fine, but creating a click bait thread every time that he does want to say something, isn't really the way this forum operates. If I could put him on ignore and his threads go away, I would. However, that doesn't remove the thread, just his comments.

As far as the Mods. Bravo for all of them. Sure I **** and moan about threads being shut down prematurely when I don't think they should be, but for the most part, the Mods here do a wonderful job. I wasn't asking any mod to shut this guys threads down or ban him.

Unfortunately... we have to take the bad with the good lol. We all have our own personal likes and dislikes... their are certain posters in here that I literally can’t stand to read anything they post. That being said there are others that don’t bother me as much ... The vast majority give very good insightful posts ... some I agree with ... some not so much. Unless someone really crosses the line with personal attacks and or racial comments etc... My preference is for the mods to leave it alone. This thread is a perfect example... for whatever reason.... I don’t care what Mike posts... it doesn’t seem to really bother me .. even if it is rather useless lol.

I being one of those school girls that you are referring to, will once again explain my post and others like it.

Putting him on ignore does not remove his inane threads. So I am still subjected to seeing a "new thread title", clicking on it and in most cases finding the random BS thread that this guy has created. His threads are usually just random thoughts, thoughts that can be posted in already created threads. Why does he need a new thread for each one of his random thoughts?

I find it funny that a thread will be shut down when it veers off course slightly, even though it is a topic that has made for good discussion. Yet a Member doing click bait threads, isn't being encouraged to discontinue doing it. Should we all just start posting a new thread, anytime we have a thought?

Maybe Shaggy can work on connecting an "ignore" with ignoring all threads posted by that member that you put on ignore.

BTW, I find your use of the phrase "whining like little school girls" offensive to myself and women in general.

True Story.

The ignore feature only goes so far. It is like seeing a car wreak and every once in a while you cannot help but slow up and take a look.

Dont think a thread has been locked for off course in ages.

Can you show us in the rules what rule he is breaking?

Did I ever say he was breaking any rules? Did I ask you to ban him? I will save you from having to read all my posts.....No, I did not.

As a matter of fact, I didn't ask a Mod to do anything. I actually went out of my way to express my gratitude for what the mods do here. What I was hoping for, was that the Poster himself would understand that what he does annoys many of us. Would you like me to make a thread and a pole to let others weigh in on it? If you read most of his threads, you will already know how many feel.

What I was getting at is if he isn't breaking a rule, not much can be done.

Not trying to disrespect you. Sorry if it came across that way.
If all he is doing is annoying posters. Then ignore is the best option right now.

Again, I wasn't asking the Mods to do a thing. I was hoping to point out to the poster that his M.O. isn't necessarily appreciated by some of us.

Common sense is like deodorant, those who need it the most never seem to use it.

OK fellows I started these threads so I guess it's up to me to just read other threads, and not start
my own on something that I thought would be of interest to all you Packer fans.

Sorry to offend you all with my postings, Good Bye

Go Pack, and I'll see you all at the Super Bowl in Miami this year.
