Allen Lazard has been listed with a core injury. No word on how serious or if he'll miss time yet, but those kind of injuries are usually not good.

Demovksy said they're weighing whether the best course of action is surgery or recovery. Either way, he's going to be out a while, if not for the season.

This really magnifies the loss of Funchess, as he could have easily stepped into this role.

From Rob Demovsky:
"Noted core muscle specialist Dr William Meyers will look at Lazards scans and will determine the next course of action- surgery or recovery."

Doesn't it often seem that when a young guy like a lazard comes out of nowhere and does well then bam there's an injury to derail the whole thing.SMH

Apparently during the week . There was no indication after the game that anything had happened to him during the game from him or anyone else.

Dang! It looks like they're not going to miss a beat with Adams being out and now this. :( But it's not like we're the only team. Tons of injuries around the league.

Adams practiced today from my understanding. I think we'll likely see him this week.

There's a pretty good chance Adam's plays, although he says he won't go at less than 100%.
Shepherd has been activated, and two WR signed to practice squad

Something's wrong here. it wasn't even announced that he missed practice until today followed an hour or so later on being a core muscle injury,, followed an hour or so later by the news that Dr Myers would be looking at his scans. Did they go back in a time machine to earlier in the week to have the surgery and then go through all of this today? The timeline is completely screwed up here.

And what do you suggest?

Couple of options .

Sammy Watkins for a 3 or 4

AJ Green 2, 3 or 4 or my #1 pick TY Hilton for a 2. Whatever the case the Packers cannot sit on their hands this time. With Lazard out, and Adams getting injured the last two seasons...they may need to make a move to bring in a proven guy. We cannot depend on MVS and a bunch of no name games. Idc how good Rodgers is. He’s going to need some help.

I like Lazard. A lot. But I think our O still goes. Looking forward to getting him back though.

If Adams plays yea. But no way can we depend on MVS. He’s not even a #3 wr...just a guy who catches the occasional deep ball. I have no clue what they’re going to do, but there is a huge hole at the #2 wideout position...and a small one at #3. Can we really depend on Sheppard? After how he looked when he got his opportunity.

Taylor Gabriel....? Or up Foster? Set Malik loose? Lots of options... Do nothing and give those targets to Tonyan or Deguara?
