Discuss if you remember the Day the Packers' 70's decade went down the crapper (with the benefit of hindsight).

I was 15 or so when that trade went down. I think the yelling and screaming about Dan Devine was equaled only by the Wolf trade for Favre.

Well in 2022 we basically traded 2 firsts 2 seconds, and some players for Aaron Rogers then signed him to a cap crippling 3 year deal. Hows that working out?

Hadl was never the answer. The Packers shouldn't have even considered trading for him. He thrived in San Diego and one year with the Rams, because of coaching, and the team around him. In GB, we had no running game, no receiver depth, and our offensive line couldn't have stopped granny with a walker.

Let's say it goes down as a horrible idea, and the team felt the sting for a few years. Even Bubba, from In The Heat of The Night ended up a starter before they sunk as low as they could go.

Also, the fact that Hadl was 34 or 35 when he came to GB didn't help matters.

Then there was the GB fans. We've had some real idiots at times. You know the kind.
