It did not come as a surprise that they are going to change the gameday scheme and as it's only 5 games on a Monday I'm fine with it. I expected a worse schedule, for example from Thursday to Monday and this frequently.What's your view of MontagSpielen @mhnessie and @Sandolf?

But of course a Monday game will be difficult for away fans to travel to.
The problem is the DFL is trying to close the gap between the EPL, Primera Division and Bundesliga regarding TV money.
And as there is the new "No Single Buyer Rule" in place I assume it will be more difficult to achieve the goals financially if you don't have exclusive rights to offer in return for a single partner. My guess is that they are going to sell the Monday games to different partner than the usual Friday/Saturday/Sunday games.
Of course I'd like to keep up the Saturday 15.30 hrs kickoff times that I grew up with, but it's not realistic anymore. On the positive side is the fact that the Bundesliga still has the most affordable ticket prices of all European top leagues.
