You Ok? Seem a little out of sorts today. We're friends here ya know?

Oh I'm more than ok. Just that 1 team finally loses and soon before a draw against Frankfurt and people link excuses as to why. A quote for Phillip Lahm comes out as to how he thinks it can't get more defensive against them. Has Phillip Lahm done a financial comparative analysis of the salaries of every Bundesliga team they play....yes or no? A quote was posted that Gladbach played 11 back... stupid comment or vitriol we don't need to hear considering Gladbach scored 3 goals which would be unattainable with 11 back... Just saying.

I thought Gladbach played well. I said they did a good job switching it up. I saw it, then I read it confirmed. In "Kicker.de" Sommer said they started with 4 back and used the two outside agressively in the second half. Pep said Bayern had no one to blame but themselves. He said they played a good first half, but lost control in the second. Ribery said Bayern didn't make the plays they should have made and Gladbach played well. I haven't read anything from Lahm. Where did you find his comments? The Gladbach coach said they played defense in the first half and at half time had a discussion about whether to get aggressive. So they switched to a "chain". It worked.

It's a relief to see Bayern lose. Maybe now we'll stop hearing about how Bayern dominance is ruining interest in the league. BTW. I'm still drinking that Edmund Fitzgerald Porter. I kind of enjoy it during a match.

Wow! I just saw a replay of what the Augsburg goalie did to the turf before the penalty shot. Is that even legal? Why didn't the ref say something? No wonder Biers is upset.

Don't think there is a rule that says it's illegal to destroy the turf around the penalty spot before the kick but its at least no good sportsmanship.
Will be interesting to see what the DFL is going to do this week.
That the penalty seems to be the wrong call as it looked like Hosiner was diving is another discussion.
However, DFL should fine the Augsburg keeper to prevent similar incidents in the future.

With Badstuber, Robben, Costa, Bernat, Alaba and Goetze injured, Pep is bringing up Julian Green to play against Dinamo on Wednesday. They felt he has been doing such a good job on the U23 squad that they want to give him a look.

Poke fun at Ribery all you want. I think right now he is a financial albatross for Bayern. He is getting paid big bucks to spend most of his time in physical rehab (maybe there's a pretty nurse). I think it's time for Bayern to cut their losses with him.

Well that was a fierce game! Ingolstadt played superbly, and had several chances for goals, unfortunately for them it is Neuer in goal. Ingolstadt was in charge the entire first half, but Bayern came out the second half and took over control of the game. A bayern win by 2, but a great game by Ingolstadt.

Badstuber with blood running down his face couldn't understand why the ref was sending him to the medical staff a second time. LOL. That was a very physical match. Bayern had a lot more shots on goal, bu the time of possession was fairly even in the first half.

And how about HSV holding Wolfsburg to a draw?

Excellent first half by HSV, in the second half Volkswagen was the better team, a draw is a absolutely fair result.
It's a pity that we don't have another away game next week, at the moment way easier to play than at home ;)
What you guys are writing about the Bayern game against Ingolstadt sounds interesting, haven't seen anything of it so far, will watch the highlights later. Koelle at least managed to score the equalizer against Bremen

Did you see that Kimmich played the whole match? With all of the injuries, I'm officially on the give Green some time bandwagon.

Right now Bayern is quite vulnerable. They look beat up and tired. They're missing 7 starters. They were kind of dragging at the Alliance today. Hannover could knock them off this weekend. Meanwhile, HSV gets them fresh off of the winter break. ;)

Yeah the winter break is coming at a really good time for bayern. Should have benatia, ribery, costa, and maybe alaba and gotze back after the break. Lookout!
