Surprised to read that Cologne has parted ways with Schmadtke. Don't see how this makes sense.
Yes, has been a rough season so far but I think they're good enough to climb up the table soon.
However, tough games ahead of them now (Hoffenheim, Leverkusen).

I guess someone has to take the fall for it

I swear Bayern play better against 11 than 10. Every time a team goes down to 10 they park it and Bayern cannot manage to get through. They play better when the game has a natural back and forth, IMO.

Wolfsburg has had a hard time of it today. Two goals called off by VAR, Gomez bounces a PK off of the crossbar. Wow.

Looks like Lewy is getting his backup. Sandro Wagner wants to go back to Munich, JN confirms.

I'm good with this. He is a capable striker and his cost shouldn't be terribly high (rumor is 10m)

Still think its the wrong decision though tbe situation is critical.

Yeah I don't know what the answer is at Cologne, but I don't think booting Stoger will fix it. I'd bet he will continue to be successful though; very intelligent coach.

He will make his way somewhere else, even with one of the better Bundesliga teams.
Sometimes its just unexplainable why a certainly better team with an exceptional coach has such a bad losing streak.

Sloppy officiating in the beginning of the match between Bayern and Frankfurt led to everybody (both teams) diving all over the place. SMH. If the official doesn't assert control over a match in the first 15 minutes, he's lost. At least Mainz drew with Leipzig!! And Dortmund keeps sinking. :)

Agreed, poor calls at the beginning led to everyone jumping around the rest of the match. A few cards on each side that really weren't warranted. That one on Muller for banging butts with another player is a new one :roflmao:. Glad to see that red card on Frankfurt get called back by VAR. It was a yellow, but a straight red was too harsh.

Bosz has to be done at BVB now, right? 7 games straight in BL without a win.
