Thanks Croak. My biggest wish is a carefree season without being afraid to be relegated. Another little step forward. The next home game against Hannover is a big chance to establish ourselves in the middle of the table. But now I'm just enjoying a perfect start into the weekend.Happy for you Nessie. That match got brutal.

Well, after Bayern having played 10 games this season I can note that our 0-5 loss in the first game wasn't that bad compared to other teams performance against them.Bundesbiers; your boys played a fine game. They have nothing for which to be ashamed. Bayern should have played that quick against Arsenal. I think the loss to Arsenal played against Koeln in that Bayern were stinging and wanted to make up for it. They were quick today. Robben looked almost cumbersome compared to the other guys on the field.

Cologne 0-4, Doofmund 1-5, Volkswagen 1-5, Leverkusen 0-3, that's impressive and shows that there is no team that can compete with Bayern at the moment. Is this boring ? For sure, but that wont change soon.
Colognes keeper Timo Horn was interviewed after the game and he did not lose a word about trying to beat them. No, he said they came there to learn from the best. To me the wrong approach but propably a realistic view.
It's good for the Bundesliga that Bayern does well. Success breeds imitation. When more teams start trying to do what Bayern does, the whole league will become competitive. I still think BVB can challenge. The race for second place is also exciting in and of itself.
Did you guys see the foul by Schalke player Geis ? Shocking.
Andre Hahn is out for at least three or four months.

If you stopped buying all the best players the league could be better. Success for one does not breed money for the other. Sorry, fact of life.

Saying it is a fact does not make it a fact.
On the contrary, I believe the success of teams like Bayern, Barca, Arsenal, etc. is what brings interest and viewers to leagues, which ups the cash coming in, which ups teams, and we circle back around. That's a very simplistic description of course.
It's all about publicity. Bayern's demolition of BVB for example, brought a lot of attention to the bundesliga. Was it an exciting match? Only for Bayern. Was it competitive? In this case, no. BUT it garnered far more publicity than a 2-1 win for Darmstadt over Werder, which was probably more exciting. Publicity brings viewers brings money.
Now, that's simply a formula for league expansion. It's not a formula for quality games, in the short term. But if they formula works, and money pours in, all teams benefit. When all teams benefit competitiveness improves. Just take a look at the premier league.
