The largest Carnival parade in the northern part of Germany usually takes place in Braunschweig. But it was cancelled yesterday due to terror attack warnings.

Can you believe it, whats wrong with this world nowadays? But my colleagues in Dusseldorf have a day off today, Rosenmontag is like a regional holiday in Dusseldorf, Mainz or Cologne.
Minus 4 degrees fahrenheit sounds terrible...we have quite a nice day here with a little sunshine and roundabout 40 degrees F.
