Would LOVE to get some of the guys you listed, but PIPE DREAM CITY for Shazier to be there in Rd 2.
I think better than 50% chance now he's NOT there at #21.

Lattimore will go closer to our #1 pick than our 3rd rounder.

I won't embarrass myself with an actual submission (I do plenty of that around here anyway).

But I predict that I might **** away 2-3 hours watching draft coverage only to see the Packers move back out of the first round when #21 comes up...

I'm really hoping that doesn't happen, unless all the players they're hoping for are gone

Both of those wee "really crazy" draft scenarios. Mostly trade back in to the top of the round type.

That said I am locking this thread before anyone edits their posts. We can start a new one discussing the results and final scores.

EDIT: unlocked after the draft completed.

Hitting 2 players is difficult, getting 1 in the correct round is even tougher (outside round 1). Hitting 1 in the 7 round is rare especially when TT had only 1 pick. Congrats to Rodell!

I'll sell Kiper everything I know about drafting for the price of his annual Fed tax bite.
..and I had Janis in the seventh but he put me over the limit.

Well in all fairness to Captain I think a lot of people had Mosley going the latter including myself. Very few people had Dix making it to 21. I remember Captain wanting Dix but he thought there was no chance he would be there.

If you get Mosley at 21 then I think the pick is to get Terrence Brooks like the Baltimore Ravens did. The fact that we got Dix at 21 kind of changes the whole thinking.

If Jordan Matthews was there in round two I am sure TT would of scooped him up. I never really liked the Jenkins kid or Roby.

If you look at the Bears safety situation it is mind boggling to me they didn't jump on Clinton-Dix. They have a worse safety situation then we did last year if that's possible.

Saying that a guy has "no chance" just tells me that Captain doesn't know the draft. You never EVER say that about any player in the draft at any point. There's always a chance. Burfict was 1st round rated player and went undrafted. It happens. Remember Darrius Heyward-Bey going #7 overall?

Also, S is a position that can fall. It's not a premium position like 3-4 OLB, CB, QB, or LT. Is nice of you to stick up for him, but for someone claiming other posters aren't credible, to have 8/20 players go undrafted or be predicted 2 rounds off is simply un-defendable.

Agreed, but ILB is also a spot that can fall and I think that's why many felt Mosley would, plus I remember there being some injury concern with him as well.

We ended up with Dix who looks like "great value" at 21.

They didn't go S because they went CB, which is a more valued DB position.

I am sure there will be a draft contest next year. I look forward to you bringing your knowledge to the forum.

Agreed. I never should've had to post the link in the first place, but now it's undeniable what I thought before the draft.

that was my bad, and an attempt at humour to lighten the mood. :)

You bumped up this thread, (to brag or rub it in someone's face they were wrong) now you are complaining things were said in it?

So I will lock it, now no one can talk about it
