Do you think the division rivals are trying to hurt A-Rod on purpose?

This is his third injury against our Div. rivals.
The Bears took him out by breaking his collarbone.
Then the Vikings did it.
Now the Bears have hurt his knee which very well may have limited his playing against another rival, the Vikes.

Is this all coincidence, on purpose or a bit of both?

Yes, there is no doubt that sometimes it is "accidental" and other times they hurt and injure the opposing player on purpose.
Sometimes it is obvious and other times it isn't.

43% of the regular season games are against a division opponent... I’d say the chances of any injury are pretty good that it will happen while playing another team in your division.

You're right about the chances being higher to get injured vs. division opponents as teams play six of their 16 regular season games against those foes. That accounts for only 37.5% though ;)

If our rivals FANS were on the other team then I'd say yes... but these players (typically) are professional and are just doing their jobs.

I feel that you can’t really look at it as a whole team attempting to hurt another player. It’s up to an individual. If he has the opportunity, he may or may not take it. There are dirty/underhanded players on most teams if not all teams.

Rodgers first season ending injury came while he was scrambling and at the LoS, nothing dirty about that play. Against the bears their man just kind of fell on him funny and caught Aaron's knee. Even the Barr hit didn't look especially dirty. The reality is that yeah defensive players are trying to get licks on quarterbacks, bang them up and it throws them off their game. See the Giants knoccking Tom Brady around to upset the Pats perfect season all those years ago.

When Barr did it last year, yeah he definitely had a bounty on Rodgers he was out to get. No doubt he deserves karma shoved on his plate.

When McClellan did it ... Well, he might have been considering it a little bit but it was a clean sack and I can't blame him for that.

Obviously we know about Ndamakung Suh, but I don't think the Lions have ever collectively felt the need to go head hunting on Rodgers.

And as to this last knee injury, there was zero chance the way it happened that that's what the Bears were trying to cause. Rodgers kinda slipped on his own and there was nothing that Bears DE could have done to prevent falling on him that way.

So, I'd say only Barr/Minny would be collectively guilty of trying to intentionally take out Rodgers.

Sorry not a coffee drinker but love Cappacino. Love Bagels. Hope they are not or did not hurt on purpose. Despite it being a violent game.

You are of course correct.... not sure where I came up with that number since I can’t seem to reproduce it lol.
