And Hill is more short than he is small. 185# at just under 5’10”.

I think small players can absolutely perform. The issue is durability. For instance, Tank Dell can 100% play, but he can't stay healthy. Sometimes small corners defy the odds, but this kid already had a shoulder issue, which is exactly what tanked Jaire's career.

    2025 Draft Media Stuff

Bruce Feldman put out a mock based on what he's hearing and mocked Grey Zabel to the Packers. If the talk of moving Morgan to left tackle is true, Zabel makes a lot of sense. He has true five position flexibility and could be a really good starter anywhere along the interior. The Packers also...

    Your Do Not Draft List

Here's one more I forgot: Maxwell Hairston, CB, UK, #35: Hairston is uber-talented with great cover skills, but you're talking about a 180 lb corner who just missed 5 games with a bad shoulder. These really slight defenders just do not last. Look at how quickly Asante Samuel Jr has gone from...

    Your Do Not Draft List

Mine... Will Campbell, OL, LSU, #8: Campbell, if he plays tackle in the NFL, will have the shortest wingspan of all time at that position. Regardless of which arm measurement is right, the wing isn't changing. I would not want to sign up to be the team that conducts that experiment at his cost...

    Your Do Not Draft List

I kind of hate making these, because the draft is all about selling optimism and if I want to reserve the right to wax poetic about WHOEVER the Packers draft. Putting my name on guys I don't want means I don't get to do that (or I at least have to pretend to have some new revelation right after...

Conerly is an interesting one. Consensus has him around #40, but there are a handful of people who absolutely love him. Whoever did the OT's for Lindy's has him as OT1 and Mike Tice recently said he's the best OL in the draft, for example. IF (and it could be a smokescreen) the Morgan to LT...

    Nearly Perfect Draft...

If I was going for an ideal scenario right now with just the picks they have and no trades, I would hope for something like this: 1. Derrick Harmon, DT, OR 2. Tre Harris, WR, MISS 3. Oluwafemi Oladejo, DE, UCLA 4. Nohl Williams, CB, CAL 5. Caleb Rogers, OL, TTU 6. Chimere ****, WR, FLA 7. Cam...

    Nearly Perfect Draft...

Higgens at 33 would be a great move. I would love that. An edge at #54 makes a lot of sense. I’d like a different skillset than what Tuimoloau offers. I like Trapilo. I don’t think they would do it though. Did you see that LaFleur just said that Morgan will compete at left tackle? Caldwell...

I can't agree with you there. Heading into that 2023 draft, the Packers had two guys on the roster who were worth any sort of consideration at receiver-- Watson and Doubs. Virtually the entire WR corps was built in that draft (Reed, Wicks, and Dubose), via UDFA (Heath), and a SFA (Melton). The...

He's so similar to JSN, who they passed on. He's a little bigger and a little faster... better blocker. I don't know if it's all enough that they would pull the trigger.

I'm pretty conflicted on him as far as whether the Packers would consider it. He's definitely not a slot only, but I think he needs to play there quite a bit if you're going to get full value out of him. Reed kind of limits them that way because they only use him inside. But I really like...
