Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 1040494" data-attributes="member: 7261">I think there are ample situations where both sides were WRONG.  Dash and body cam footage proves that theory.  So yup, we can recite stories where 1 side or the other side didn't handle it properly and it escalated into something that it shouldn't be and then both sides do things they shouldn't have.  But we see that in our everyday lives.  Fights with our GF/Wife/BF/Husband/Family/Friends, etc.  The big difference being there isn't one of us carrying weapons and the possibility of the other doing the same.  Not to mention the fact that the person carrying the weapon is known to have the right to use it.How would these traffic stops go if a cop, who was just on lunch break from his desk job (no uniform, no weapons) with just a siren, lights and a badge to identify themselves pulled Tyreek over?  I have a feeling a lot different.I can't discount Tyreek's behavior too much.  Was it arrogant and over the top, sure it was.  Problem is, he has seen what can happen when a black man gets pulled over on a traffic stop. I also think the cop, has seen what can happen when a car with tinted windows is pulled over and the driver is uncooperative.I'm not trying to say how he behaved was correct, but as a white male, I can't really relate to having the same fear as he might have had in that situation.</blockquote>
