Something to move away from the doom and gloom.

Why are these restricted to desperation times? The gem of a play by Pats and the fake pass in ours were game changers.

Should we encourage the use of this in Red Zone chokeup's? Probably as a 3rd down play. If we fail, we can always kick in 4th. Kinda confuses the defence and keeps them guessing for a trick/fake always.

Opinions?

We ran that fake FG against Chicago a couple years ago which was a thing of beauty. It would nice to see more trickery but it only seems genius when it works, which isn't most of the time

ironically packers seemed to have missed the memo that these fake plays are used during desperate times. can't believe the defense coordinators didn't tell any players to look out for a fake FG. they were all caught off guard.

btw...remember the "fake" roger did to, I think, miami this year? that was a classic. which QB is known for that?

Time to revisit this again.

That fake punt of ours was a thing of beauty. Completely out of the norm. Agreed that this was against a Dolphins defence that was weak against the run overall, but still a bit of spice on an overall predictable offence of recent times.

I earn to see us run a few flea flickers or even a odd laterals.
