Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 730544" data-attributes="member: 7261">In regards to WR, I think history has shown, AR has a way of making our WR's look better than they actually are.  So no, I don't think Adams or even one of my favorite players, James Jones, was able to fill the void when Jordy was hurt.  But you are right, injuries play a role in everything.  As they did last year at CB.  I think it is easy to say Randall and Rollins would have played better healthy, no doubt.  However, if memory serves me correct, there were times early in the season when one or both of them were "NFL healthy" and neither of them looked like a #1 or #2, which is much harder than being a #3 or #4.  Coaches even acknowledged that they were disappointed that neither of them had made the jump from year 1 to 2 (injuries aside).The disappointing part of the way this is all playing out for me, TT once again uses major draft assets on the defense, in this case, one position, CB (Randall, Rollins, King) and we are still going into a season not fully sure of the position.  Meanwhile, the OLB position is scary thin and ILB is well....meh.  Then you look at the big picture and say "with the draft so heavily focused on the defense over the last 5 years, how in the hell is our offense so good?"  Smoke and mirrors and #12?</blockquote>
