Message: <blockquote data-quote="IPBprez" data-source="post: 35216" data-attributes="member: 51">I've read this PR sheet before.....Here's the deal ---- HE's GOT MARTY-BALL...ITIS..!When it comes down to jumpin' out of airplanes, Rossley is the last one in line and you "have" to push him out.  Sure he's got great stats - the categories are endless - but it wasn't "his" Offense that "he" created.  It was Ron Wolf's Offense that even " I "  could go into the record books with.Time and time again - the Offense on the field took over and altered whatever tactics Rossley wanted and molded them into winning situations - which is the mentality now missing from the current squad surrounding Favre.  This current crop are more of a "here's what I'm not gonna do" type group - they know what the definition of each position is - and they use it to review what they shouldn't "have" to do... it's always someone else's fault with this bunch - hence the penalties and false starts and now even Tauscher and Clifton are showing cracks....It's an ATTITUDE!This, people, ...is a coaching issue.If... and I mean a "big" ..IF.... -- if Rossley had any say whatsoever on which Players should be chosen by the now previous GM - well, it shows his true talent...  and personally, I think he "did" have some say - Sherman doesn't do a thing out there without you seein' him discussin' it over the headphones...   That's the shame of it.Rossley will always be a College style Offense guy -- and will never graduate up to the next level.What's more - while he has a LOT of stats on that list - look how many times he had to change jobs.... one University after another - all sayin' "see ya later, Tommy!"   Now, while it may not have actually been that way - look at the winning Colleges of today - they all have some pretty permanent Coaching personnel. Ya think?  How often do Coaching Assistants change jobs in the College ranks - what's more - with our situation why do we care...?We've seen several people come and go during Rossley's time as OC - but the final loss of the two Guards finally snapped whatever twigs were holding the silly putty together..  Look at Dallas and Terry Glenn - amazing how he's havin' such a great time down there with the schemes playing into his talents.... and yet at GB - Rossley couldn't figure out his address....  What's more, that just one instance.....When it comes to steppin' over that line in the sand and facin' that "bully" - Tom Rossley is a no-show!  He should have never been put in that chair.... ever!JMHO - and nothing more!What I describe, above - is something they don't put on Coaching Resume's - because a LOT of Coaches would probably never find work - but it's a very necessary piece of info - in order to be a WINNER!</blockquote>
