Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pokerbrat2000" data-source="post: 725435" data-attributes="member: 7261">Don't get me wrong, I want Janis to succeed, but I think it's a lot of wishful thinking by Packer fans that he will succeed.  Also, to say that he has "excelled" when asked to perform is part of that wishful thinking and loosely based on 2 hail mary catches against Arizona.  He has been afforded other opportunities and not excelled.  Sometimes I think fans are so enamored by this guy that they forget why he continues to get passed on the depth chart as well as sees most of his playing time on special teams.  For whatever reasons, he hasn't developed enough to be inserted as a WR unless injuries or packages (hail mary) have dictated it.The Vikings have another fan favorite like Jeff, Moritz Böhringer.  Also a guy with a lot of the physical attributes that point to him being a great WR.  But he so far has failed to be able to play at the level required of a WR in the NFL.</blockquote>
