Studs Z. Smith Clark Duds Rodgers -- poor decision making. Strip sack was a killer. Almost had two. Didn't throw guys open. Didn't look engaged. Wasted too much time. D. Adams -- penalty early on was a killer. Stupid. Was it a weak call? Yes. But why take the chance? Act like a professional. King -- totally blew coverage on Kittle TD. Embarrassing. Packers tied up so many draft picks on DBs and this is a starting corner? Better sign more free agents. R. Gary -- is he still on the team? I didn't like the selection at the time and still don't. I wanted Montez Sweat. I haven't checked Sweat's production lately but it can't be worse than Gary. Packers seldom draft that high; can't afford a bust. That's on Gute. Martinez -- cannot cover anybody. Can't do it. Give up. Need at least one ILB who can cover, or just play more safeties. Scott -- WTF happened to this guy? Special teams -- abysmal. Negative yardage after receiving a punt that should have been either fair caught or left alone? That's mental breakdown/bad coaching. Biggest dud: MLF. Two weeks to prepare and laid a major egg on the West Coast. Again. And made no meaningful halftime adjustments. Had one series involving trickery, misdirection, motion -- the reverse to Lazard was nice. That series actually moved the chains. The we go back to Aaron standing there waiting to be sacked. Also: do not run up the middle against SF defensive front. They are actually good at their jobs. Stupid. I felt sorry for A. Jones getting sent into that wood chipper repeatedly. MLF is a young coach. He's 8-3 and has been a refreshing change from stale McCarthy. But I hope this was a big learning experience for him. Packers have one more tough game. SF has several. Packers, believe it or not, could still get the number one NFC seed. Win out at I think they will likely get 1 or 2 seed. That would be a great turnaround from last year. Have to take care of business against weaker teams and then go into Minnesota ready to play and take no prisoners.
