Where did you plan on watching SuperBowl50?
In a few minutes I plan to head over to my brother's cave to sit and play cards, drink expensive booze, and stuff my face with unhealthy food options. About a dozen regulars all night and a few drop-ins. Most guests bring a favorite bottle to share. Two or three sheepshead tables. He has a heated 4-stall garage with 3-5 TV's set along all the walls. For some of the guests "this Bud's for you" has a different meaning than what Anheiser-Busch intended. It's about a 20 minute drive there. My designated driver does not touch alcohol or other DUI chemicals.

Get together at my house with my family, and my son's friends.
Last year, I was about 30 rows up on the goalline in Glendale where Russell Wilson threw the fateful Int.
Great seats, great game.
But it should have been us against New England and that sting will always hurt.

To my favorite hangout with my favorite group of people. Not a Bronco or Panther fan in the bunch, just people who love football, cold beer, great food, and each others company.

There's a game on today? :coffee: *searches listings menu using the word "Packers" *

Hey, only 6 months from today and the Packers will kick off the 2016 season in the Hall of Fame game.
It'll only feel like a million years from now. :)

Let me tell you something, when the 2016 season starts, we are going to win so much that our opponents, are going to get sick of us winning. We are going to start winning big league on deep passing, and we're going to win in short routes. We’re going to build up our O-line. We’re going to have such a strong O-line that nobody, nobody is going to mess with us.

Out of the clear blue western skies...
When the Packers season ends so does mine. I'm uncertain as to the year this tradition began but I'm suspecting sometime around the late 1980's. Today, I'm enjoying a visit from my sister and niece who live out-of-State. All the women are taking a nap right now and I have a chance to see what is going on in the forum. Four+ hours of commercials being rudely interrupted by 20 minutes of actual playing time (for two teams and 106 players that I could not care less about) is not my idea of a good time and time well-spent. Enjoy it if you can.

On defense, we're gonna build a wall. And opposing offenses are going to pay for it.

Who u guys give the MVP to at this juncture? Manning hasn't done anything to earn it. No touchdowns. Has both an Int and a fumble.
Maybe Cam pulls it out late, but for now, Von Miller and Demarcus Ware maybe share it?

Denver's defense is so good. Cam is dangerous though.
Best chance for Carolina to win might be a signature Peyton Manning Pick-6.

Flew down to AZ, hit up the WMO yesterday and went to a spot in Scottsdale for the game.

I was in my living room watching Super Scam rolling around on the ground like a child having a tantrum and loving every second of it.
Congratulations to the Denver Broncos.

Rickie Fowler has issues with hole #17, dayum. I was there last year, when in town for the Super Bowl. Weather was better this week than when I was there....

CONGRATS DENVER BRONCOS.

You see why I have been *****ing to get a legit ILB like Perryman or Kendricks or Anthony in the draft last year, or Shazier or Mosely the year before? WE NEED Clay back at OLB?

Off the edges is where he is great, and where game-changing sacks, strips tend to occur, as seen last night, and as seen from Clay before......

What a great defense Denver has. And that pass rush! Cam was pressured 21 times, more than any game this season. Brady was hit and pressured more than any QB in any game this season. Totals for Big Ben, Brady, and Cm; 1 TD, 4 picks (or was it 6) , sacked 13 times.
And Wade Phillips is one of the games great defensive minds.

I thought they'd have a really tough time with Carolina because they could run the ball, and I didn't think stopping the run was their strength, but they were suffocating all game long in every facet. They won that game, pure and simple. One of the best defensive performances we've ever seen in the NFL. Lots of guys were at the top of the game last night on that side of the ball, and Von Miller was on another planet. Even trying to tackle him around the throat every play wasn't enough to slow him down. Very impressive. He's about to become a very, very, rich man. And rightly so.

IMO, Denver went in with the attitude/plan that they were going to be themselves, play their game and not let CAR dictate to them. Also, realize CAR would make a play here and there, just don't let them be game changers. The first 2 CAR possessions of the 2nd half, they get pass plays of 45 and 42 yards. Result; missed FG and turnover.

I didn't even really care if I watched it heading into the game. I didn't watch any pregame, none of the hype leading up, I rarely even miss the national anthem of a the game. Last night my wife was Netfilx binging and I didn't even know what time it was. She quit just in time for kickoff, didn't even see a coin toss. Boy am I glad I watched, missing that defensive performance would have been extremely disappointing, and it was against a legit offense that was very balanced and able to attack thru the air, on the ground and with a QB. They just suffocated everything. I can think of 2 plays Denver made on offense. An early pass to Daniels and the final TD run where Anderson took on both stud ILB's and ran them into the endzone. Keuchly and Davis had clean, hard shots at him and he still took them. Impressive play, but then it was the defense and Miller that gave them the ball right there again. That win is all on defense
