Ryan Pickett Interview

The Packers website multimedia page has an interview with Ryan Pickett wherein he describes the personal matter he was dealing with as "an ordeal". He had been in contact with coach McCarthy by telephone.


He is glad to be in Green Bay and appreciates the support given him by teammates and coaching staff. While he repeatedly declined to say what the personal matter was he said he did feel bad and that he let his teammates down. "Leaders show up for these OTA's."

An interesting item was that he was studying his notebook as Packer playbooks are not permitted to leave the building.

It's good to see Pickett decided to show up for the end of OTA's.

He sounds very sincere and though his attendence is a bit contradictive, he seems like a team player with a great attitude. Since we are nowhere remotely near the situation, he says that he has been in constant communications with MM, so if the coach is cool with him, we should be too!
Now Woodson on the other hand I get a good vibe from his 5 minute interview.
