What I meant was the comp picks don’t start until after all 3 rounds of regular draft picks are complete (96 picks) So trading a comp (from any round) is easily worth moving up 9 spots (like we did) during the first day IF our guy is there. The worth of losing any one compensatory pick more often doesn’t outweigh losing the ability to pick the guy you know will be good enough to be a day one starter or has the attributes to be a perfect fit.If that makes sense.</blockquote>
