Packers reportedly interested in free agent Chris Myers

That would technically be against league policy, but apparently happens irregardless of the rules.</p><p> </p><p>Many people regard Myers as a superior player to Wells, including one AFC personnel director <a href="http://www.sacbee.com/2012/02/25/4289805/packers-wells-wants-top-center.html" target="_blank">who was asked to rank the available centers from 1-10 </a>and gave Myers and 8 and Wells a 7.</p><p> </p><p>Talks with Wells' agent have gone no where according to the report.</p><p> </p><p>"We'll figure that out," coach <strong>Mike McCarthy</strong> said Friday via the <em>Associated Press</em>. "I'm hopeful and confident things can work out with Scott. If they don't, we'll have to move in a different direction."</p><p> </p><p><span style="color: #000000">It's possible the Packers' franchise tag could be applied to Wells if Myers is not an option either, as the Texans don't have plans to let him walk.
