Gute has done an above average job acquiring talent. If you take away 1 acquisition (however good or bad that draft selection you think is) you set an entire chain of events into another direction. Id even argue across multiple drafts, because Gute looks across 2-3 seasons ahead for continuity.  But yes, to us layman, we have zero idea what his full plan is, so it appears stupid</blockquote>
