Not for me. I’ve seen this happen several times in my work career. It’s like when people speed up on the Highway when they see you passing them. They were going 60 snd you passed them at 80... and suddenly they’re trying to run you down at 85 like a Vendetta! So absolutely nothing personal. But I’ll stand by my own opinion because I’ve lived it. There’s zero chance that #12 didn’t play better partly because he had a chip on his shoulder. That’s not a bad thing either.. and it’s not the primary reason they selected Jordan. Rodgers killing it at that level was absolutely a byproduct of selecting Jordan. That is an excellent argument if you’ve never supported BPA/BAP (whatever) in any way shape or form in the past. I’m not taking the time to go searching back through posts, but that’s just a self convicting thought for those that play both sides of that coin (not saying you did) We can’t have it both ways and it takes a GM who stands on principal to go against public opinion in order to better his team both now and in the future. Can you imagine how many people though Ron Wolf was an idiot for trading for Mississippi (Favre). I called him Mississippi because Jerry Glanville didn’t even have the respect to use his name. It’s one step up from “boy”. Little did he know Favre would finish as one of the greatest, most durable to set field. Who’s the “boy” now Jerry??
