I don't know about you, but I haven't given up on winning 8 more games this season. This is a total bummer. Hopefully the torn labrum King suffered in college doesn't become a problem in the future. Goodson just caught a major break. I've came to the conclusion he will not be resigned but he may surprise and show some good tape. This season has been a bummer and a letdown imo. I just want to beat the Viks and Lions to make it worth it in the long run
Wrong decision to bring up Goodson. He has never looked like an NFL player. It would make more sense to bring in another pass rusher than Goodson. If Goodson and Randall are on the field together, that's a dream team for the oppossing offensive coordinator.
Randall has been playing very well as of late.

Since when has Randall played well? Outside of a few lucky bounces like his gift pick against Dallas, he continues to get burned for first downs on third and long and his play against the run would generously be characterized as hidden. Randall is a first round draft choice. He's played like a low draft pick at best. Does anyone really think oppossing teams are hesitant to go after him? The answer to that question is no. So I think the narrative that Randall sucks still applies. The secondary as a whole sucks and he has not been a difference maker. Some posters struggle with changing their preferred narratives.

probably as he is the Atlanta DCI swear I heard the name marquand manuel while watching the thursday night game.
That seems backwards to me... king was making some great defensive plays. Was playing the opposing #1 wr many times.Goodson already blew his hammy!!!! Excellent work as always Lovat.
Is King really rated at 109 out of 115 CB's in the league by PFF? I know he hasn't been all that good aside from a few games early in the season but that is a brutal ranking if you believe in their rankings.
I heard that too. I'm looking it up...On another db note, I swear I heard the name marquand manuel while watching the thursday night game.
Coaching career[edit]
On February 14, 2012, the Seattle Seahawks announced that the team had hired Manuel to serve as Seahawks' assistant special teams coach.[10] A year later he was named defensive assistant.[11]
Manuel was hired by the Atlanta Falcons in 2015 as the defensive backs coach, following Dan Quinn from Seattle to Atlanta. After coming under fire for it,[12] on March 7, 2016, Manuel issued an apology for asking former Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple, at the 2016 NFL Combine, the question, "So, do you like men?".[13]
During the 2016 offseason, Manuel interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator position, though he did not get the job.[14]
In the 2016 season, Manuel and the Falcons reached Super Bowl LI, where they faced the New England Patriots on February 5, 2017. In the Super Bowl, the Falcons fell in a 34–28 overtime defeat.[15]
On February 10, 2017, Manuel was promoted to defensive coordinator of the Atlanta Falcons
True, Goodson never played like an NFL player but they barely have any bodies left to play CB. D-House is injured. Only Randall, House and Hawkins are the only veteran, thus they needed to bring up Goodson, though he hasnt shown much, i rather Goodson than - say, Raysean Pringle on the PSquad,.Wrong decision to bring up Goodson.
