If Gary can't beat out one of the Smiths for a starting job (and if he CAN do that then you have to wonder why the team spent so much on the one he beats out) then you have to wonder why the coaches want him playing that much OLB rather than just having him add 10 pounds and playing DE in this defense. Either way, he needs to be playing 40+ snaps (and doing well on those snaps) before I'm willing to start declaring this guy a worthwhile draft pick.</blockquote>
