He had 12 touchdowns, 69 catches, almost 12 yards per catch.He's caught over 100 touchdowns, and he's never had a season where he averaged less than 11.0 per catch.Remember, Cobb averaged 10.5 per catch this season and Jones So A) he's still very good and B) he's Mr. San Diego.Lot of pressure to keep the team in San Diego, hence keep him. Especially since he wants to stay there.That MIGHT be the opportunity for someone else (like us) to make a very strong offer for Ladarius that the Chargers elect to pass on in order to keep a handful of other players PLUS keep Gates.
