Rodgers is older and still not cheap, but he'll come with less long-term guaranteed money and won't cost as much to acquire. So in the same way...while we don't have a ton of suitors for Rodgers...the Jets don't have a ton of options to bring in at QB, either. Ultimately then Green Bay's options are of course 1.) Rodgers returns; 2.) Rodgers retires; or 3.) Rodgers is traded. And I think we would prefer #3 (for the right price) at this point, but also would be okay with (and prepared for) #2. With the Jets it's 1.) Trade for Rodgers; 2.) Make a bigger trade for Lamar and pay him more money; 3.) Overpay someone like Jimmy G; or 4.) Try to roll the dice with Zach Wilson again. And so in that sense I guess my feeling is that Green Bay is probably more comfortable with #1 (Rodgers returning to GB for another season) than the Jets would be comfortable with overpaying for someone like Jimmy G or trying again with Wilson. In other words - even though our options are fairly limited I feel like we still are probably more comfortable with the options available to us than they are right now.</blockquote>
