Nessie: Why are HSV games usually on Sunday?
Well, usually the DFL tries to schedule games with teams that are not too much far away from each other. The idea behind this is that away fans shouldnt need to travel more than 300 kms oneway on Sundays. At the moment there is a lot of critics about it because it obviously doesnt work anymore. Teams like HSV, Hertha and other teams seem to play more on Sundays than other teams . DFL says its an accident but also refers to many factors that influence the fixtures like international games, Champions League games etc, etc.
I'm fine with Sunday games but I really hate the 18.30 Saturday game.

I see Mainz is back up to number 3 in the table. I suppose they think they want to challenge the Big Boys for the lead. :ninja:

Kickers lost 5-1 to VfB II. Seems more like Ramadan than Christmas to me.

I repaired our flat screen 32" TV today. We bought a new one when it went bad and I thought I would get online and try to find out how to fix the broken one. Now I have a HDTV 32" monitor for my computer! I was watching the Bayern/Roma game replay on ESPN 3. Wow the stuff you can see. I did notice that Neuer spends time talking to Alonso during plays when they are close together. Alonso has definitely become the "Quarterback" of FC Bayern. I'm not sure I'm anxious to see Martinez return when he is healthy. LOL Should we send him to Hamburg on loan??
