If you are a church goer, you need to go to confession straight away. Right this minute !! If not, you seriously need to start right this minute. THAT was unsportsmanlike conduct, half the distance to the goal line, ejected from the game !

Funny you should mention, I'm watching church on my laptop while I watch the Koeln game. Multitasking.

But I'll impose a self imposed punishment of 30 minutes of banishment from this forum.

Maybe he's a good Scottish Presbyterian. He wouldn't need confession then. He'd be one of the elect!

Indeed, I have a couple bottles Oktoberfest beer in the fridge. This win needs to be celebrated :)

There seems to be a lot of crowing in the media about mighty Dortmund losing to hapless Hamburg. But I'm thinking, this is the same Hamburg that tied Bayern. Maybe they are just a sleeping giant.

He's too normal for that, yep no confession I know the signs, a picture of the queen as an avatar and a hatred of green. No tv no internet, nah no way is he a wee free. ;)

We are a sleeping giant for more than 20 years Croak, I guess its time to wake up ;)
Yesterdays win was well deserved, yes Dortmund had strong 20 minutes at the end of the game but we had more and better chances and missed to convert and decide this match earlier. After last season and the bad start into this season I'm happy with every finish above the 16 th place. This team with players like vdVaart, Holtby, Lassogga, Behrami, Djourou should be able to manage a place around 12 to 9....theoretically.
Frankfurt was bad luck, Gladbach was a deserved loss but the games against Bayern and Dortmund are good examples was this team is able to achieve when they pull together as a team and fight for every inch.

A comatose Giant, Hamburg should be challenging for the Champions League places. Not won anything since 1987 unreal, a competative league yes but its more than that. As an outsider bad management from those in charge of the organisation is all i can think of. People like Horst Hrubesch etc should be brought in to show the players what it means to play for the club. Id like to think this is the start of things getting better for the Red Shorts.
