Anyone know what percent of drafted players actually turn out to be a great fit for any NFL team?

Also, why some players in collage light up the score board and play in the NFL and fall flat?
Ron Dayne and Desman Howard come to mind.

I’m guessing that many do. Thompson’s board had 125 players on it about 7 or 8 years ago.

Average years for an NFL player is 2.5 years or so before they're completely out.
