He could be some serious competition for Crosby's job. Only concern I have is he doesn't have a really strong leg.

The Saints have scheduled him for a tryout next week, I hope the Packers don't let him leave without a contract (if he can prove he can kickoff). I love Mason, but its time for some real competition.

After reading more on him, his leg strength is the reason he isn't in high demand. He didn't kickoff for LSU. In the NFL, it is rare a team has the luxury of carrying 2 kickers and in this case, if he can't handle kickoff duties.....see ya!

Lol. I Miss old Trickle. Used to watch him at the West Salem Speedway on Wed nights, he always won
Then it was a surprise to eventually root him on at Daytona in 1992. I had no idea he was there until I saw the program. He had a very respectable finish too at 5th place.. beating Dale Earnhardt Sr and the “King” in Richard Pettys last Daytona. The best part was Petty coming out of smoke from a pile up in the 4th turn like Jim Rockford in backwards fashion then spinning forward. Standing ovation worthy spin out. Lol

Anyway. We need to push Crosby. Nothing like a foot up the old kazoo to get your butt in gear!
