Tony Banks will be catching passes (yes, CATCHING) for the Green and Gold no later than week 6 this season. Mark my words.

It would be pretty sweet to sign Tom Tupa, because he could handle punting duties and back up Brett at the same time, just like he did for the Jets.

Ricky Proehl would be a nice add for depth.

Boo Williams is a guy I like but our TEs are good.

a couple solid CBs left too.

i dont know much about the guards, but im sure TT\MM do.

Buckner would be a interesting signing. If we could get him for just a one year deal. I mean he's a solid player that would fit in our rotation great. 5-man rotation with Buckner and Pickett starting. Just a thought.

Grady Jackson, Dan Wilkenson, or Bretson Buckner - get one of them to compliment Pickett (my preference of course is Grady) and no one would be able to run up the middle.

Quite a lot of talent at OLB.
Sadly( :?:  ) we don't need one.

I always liked Tom Nütten playing Guard during his time with
the Rams (not ONLY because he's german), but I think he doesn't have
much gas left in his tank......

Looks like what we have now is who we go into training camp with.
I don't forsee any starting quality guards coming off the scrap heap so College and Coston should be the starters.
I'm more than a little nervous about the kicking situation.

Would Edinger be better than Cundiff?

Well agents for these guys should be calling the Packers. The Packers still have money to spend. Most of the list are past their prime.

I think there will be a few players signed during the final cuts. There will be a couple of suprise cuts to sign them.

While the Packers are always on the look to improve these guys have to prove they are better or at least comparable to the talent the Packers currently have.

I doubt Thompson will sign these guys as he has shown a preference for younger players( except Woodson ). The most likely of the group to be signed may be a PK, DT, or OG but the odds are not that good.

You don't sign veterans to be back-ups. Younger developing players should be the back ups.

Injuries of course can change the picture quickly.

Oh boy, not alot of gems there. Myabe a back-up safety, so we can release Roman, but I really don't see any other needs. We have over 25 young players on the team (1 year or less experience), we have to wait and see what develops. Hopefully, we can develop a good enough OL to allow Favre enough time to pass, and create a big enough hole for Green to run through. If this happens, the Packers are gonna be very good.

I'd take Edinger over Cundiff.

I think Az-Hakim still has something left in him to add depth had WR if our core isn't preforming well in training camp.
