Yup. Pathetic Really. Honestly, if they held the NCAA Finals in Madison, they probably sell out the Kohl Center or at least sell 8-10K tickets in advance and if the Badgers are playing, a packed house. Sadly, for whatever reasons, it seems that the State of Minnesota has had the Lions share of hosting the NCAA Women's NCAA Tourney. Not once, has it been in Wisconsin. Bucky beat Duluth today by a score of 3-1. The game was played on Duluth's Home ice before what looked like about 200 people. Pathetic! The Badgers outshot Duluth by about a two-one margin, but the Bull Dogs kept themselves in the game with suburb goaltending by Gascon. She and McNaughton are probably the 2 best goalies in the country. CW-TV actually picked up the game, so I got to watch it! The Badgers will play the winner of the next game, OSU VS Minnesota, at 2pm tomorrow for the WCHA Final Face-Off Championship.
