Young fumbled a couple snaps from center and threw one or two wobbly passes, but had an overall solid first effort. Head coach Jeff Fisher said, "I thought he did a nice job with everything from the huddle, to breaking the huddle, to getting under center, the cadences, the snap counts and the concepts we have for him. This morning we threw one-on-one, and he completed four consecutive deep balls to receivers he'd never thrown to before. That's a good sign because he's able to adjust and able to adjust real easily." Young claims the Titans playbook is not much different from his old one and added, "But you've just got to put it in their terminology. It's just like a college playbook. It's thick, but you don't try to beat the coaches to anything. Whatever he gives you that day to study, that's what you go study and that's what you work on that day.
