The highlight play of the game was LeRoy Butler's td return of an Oakland fumble on which he began the home touchdown celebration known as "the Lambeau Leap." One time Packers' assistant coach Jon Gruden came back to town as head coach of Oakland to meet first year Packers' head coach Ray Rhodes. The Raiders appeared to have the game won in the fourth quarter with a ten point lead when Brett Favre led one of the amazing comeback wins of his career in Green Bay. But the Pack got derailed in the Wild Card playoff against Atlanta, their first ever home postseason loss. The Raiders made but were blown out by Tampa Bay.    The "Super Bowl that might have been" was played the next season on a Monday night in Oakland. Two days after the sudden death of his father Brett Favre played through the grief with what many consider his best game ever.
