Draft picks that high don't ordinarily sit on the bench too long. Would McDuffie take snaps away from Cooper and Walker and Wilson on special teams? I hope not. While Wilson is a free agent, resigning him makes sense from a special teams perspective. The only scenario that makes sense is the front office sees McDuffie as a much better back up than Hopper should Walker or Cooper be out with an injury. That would provide a lot of justification to the folks who decried the Hopper selection last year calling him a wasted pick.</blockquote>
