Letting Kenny just walk, while it will possibly net you a 3rd round comp pick, it won't be till 2026 draft...I think the right thing to do by Kenny and the team is IF sides are not going to get a deal done, talk with Kenny and see if a common liked suitor can be reached in a trade. I say that not easily of course and don't take that as a defense of the move, just the reasons which are valid to do it. There is arguably just as much value if you start out 2024 gangbusters and say sitting at 4-0 or so telling Kenny let's go out in style and part ways as champions.</blockquote>
