Our offense is starting to come around and has a lot of room to improve. getting a stable and healthy offensive line with 2 legitimate tackles will give us a boost. more time with our new TE's in the offense will give us a boost. Finding a running game and 2 backs to pair together can give us another boost. and we already have Rodgers, Jordy, Adams, Cobb. I see no reason why this offense won't improve a lot yet. Which should scare the crap out of anyone we face. and I don't care if we need to rely on them to score a lot of points because they're certainly built for it.</p><p></p><p>on defense, they've had their moments of good and bad. Our Dline is better than it has been. Anybody that thinks we don't have guys up front to win, well I don't know what you expect? Daniels will start on any defensive front in the league. Clark is probably there already in year 2 of his career too and he's only getting better. RJF is a fine vet to rotate in. Every team has a guy like him and uses him. Lowery is getting better. Dial is a nice addition and giving us good snaps. We still have Adams to see yet who i'm not expecting a ton out of, but quality snaps to rotate in at some point will only help. If not, there is room to grow with our already nicely playing DLine unit. </p><p></p><p>Clay has been good this year, the only people denying it are those that just want to hate on Clay. Perry is doing well and when he gets that cast off he'll be better. Of course he could just get hurt again and that wouldn't be good. Our OLB's have been ok and could get a shot in the arm if Biegel can see the field later this year. Martinez has been a bright spot this year at ILB. That guy came to play this year. Some of the similar miscommunications, leaving areas vacant etc in the defensive backfield and that's concerning to say the least. But we've also seen guys make real plays. Brice has been good, if he can stay on the field. Josh Jones is only going to get better and is already making plays. King is doing well and both of those guys are just starting to improve. They both have high ceilings. they aren't dropping off. Burnett is having a really solid year again. I'm doubting Randall changes his attitude, and that will always leave us vulnerable, but to not see improvement from last year to this? you're just hating. Nobody is confusing him with Patrick Peterson, but he's having a good season so far. If he's our nickel back and keeps playing like this, unless you're expecting Patrick Peterson at the nickel, we'll be fine. </p><p></p><p>They've had their issues back there, but they've also made some plays too. With lots of room to grow and get better even this season I remain optimistic. Lots of teams have had injuries this year, I know, and lots of those teams are 4-1. I like watching the team grind it out and come back with grit and win like they did against Dallas far more than the blowouts. If all you care about is wins and losses, check the scores in the morning.
