I also don't think the trades are realistic enough to be considered feasible. More importantly, I think the Packers probably view all prospects with the hope they can get two contracts out of. There are very, very few that are worthy of a 3rd contract imo.
I think the true wild card in the CB equation is.... what does Packers staff and management think about the young non starters on the roster. Do they feel they have any potential starting caliber CB's after what they saw of them last year?
Partially true. His inability to be game day available over the last 3 years has worn thin with me. I've never been impressed with his on field demeanor. It smacks of unprofessional behavior imo. I prefer mature and professional personalities. Call me crazy I guess.
All it takes is for one team to covet one prospect. Draft day makes some GM's do stupid things. Happens every year. Never underestimate the ability of desperate GM's to find a way to commit employment suicide.
Exactly when have we seen that? Guy is never healthy anymore but his mouth keeps yapping and his personal foul penalties keep mounting. This guy has even done stupid stuff before the game even starts. Trade his butt to Miami.
Jenkins, after his jury, is an average player until he proves otherwise. He's got serious work to do imo. His greatest asset now is his ability to play multiple positions and that isn't worth 24M a year imo.
Well, I'll go on the record as saying that I consider it extraordinarily risky to replace 4 starting offensive linemen after a season where the old crew wasoverall considered in the top third of the league in performance. I dang sure wouldn't do it just out of fear of having a disastrous first...
