It's kinda hard to have any humility when you're told over and over how great you are. And having no voice of reason.
Starr appeared to be a very humble man. He never seemed to let success go to his head.
To me the upcoming season is going to tell the story. How much did the injuries play into Love's playing? Can ML learn from learn from his strong misses on planning? If I'm not mistaken predictability was MM's downfall.
I thought Saleh was supposed to help the offense. Why didn't he tell ML...
Dang! I sure was wrong about the Packers coming out with something to prove. It was almost a carbon copy of last week.
The coaches and players need to do some soul searching in the off season and develop some better offensive game plans than run Jacobs up the middle. The Eagles knew exactly...
Chargers 24 at Houston 17
Pittsburgh 7 at Baltimore 28
Denver 24 at Buffalo 40
Green Bay 30 at Philadelphia 28 (Green Bay has something to prove and eek out a win)
Washington 24 at Tampa Bay 28
Minnesota 10 at LA 24
What I find confusing is that up until this season, for the most part I thought ML called good games. I forget who said it earlier but it I agree, it may be that ML just does not have the skills to call the offensive plays and manage the whole team. I wish he would try giving up control and see...
When I saw him go down clutching his knee that's the first thing I thought of. The guy can't catch a break. Even if he hadn't played yesterday. Who's to say that it wouldn't have happened this week?
Stud-The initial defense.
Duds-where do I begin? The injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if Watson tore his ACL. The offense and the offensive play calling. The Defense later in the game.
This is another game that I didn't feel like the team was ready or excited to get ready for the playoffs.
IMO ML runs hot and cold. Sometimes he calls a great game and other times a real stinker. It's like he never watched any film on Chicago. But the biggest surprise was Hafley's choice for play call on the last play of the game. In fact his game plan wasn't so great either.
Sorry Gang but this...
Someone raised this question on another board. Play the starters for a while and then pull them. It's better to be healthy than to satisfy our ego by needing to beat the Vikings.
What do you think?
I didn't see this posted anywhere so here goes.
At the surface the Vikings seem like they are a very good team. I just can't figure out if they are for real. They sure find ways to win.
I get frustrated with Jefferson. He is extremely hard to guard. He always seems to come down with the ball...
