Good stuff. I’ve come to fully realize that while in certain areas size is really important, there are anomalies that are very successful. Deuce is going to be an example of this. He’s got football Pedigree and that means he’s got something to play for, it’s personal. I had someone tell me that my choice of Devin Singletary was a “yuck” selection anywhere before Rounds 6-7 in the 2019 draft. They said he was too slow and wouldn’t translate. I mean Devin’s 4.66 40-yard; 7.32 3-cone is not appealing at all I get it. Their choice in Rounds 3-4 was Darrell Henderson, that’s if they even wanted a shorter RB. Well Singletary has done just fine for a 3rd Rounder and if anyone should’ve been a 6th Rounder? It was Darrell Henderson. There’s something about a very low center of gravity that allows for elite cutting ability. Add to that Defenders are not used to tackling a Squirt (for lack of better terminology). He’s hard to tackle unless he’s met early and head on. Deuce can juke you right out of your cleats. He’s best paired with a feature back as a change of pace. But he’s dynamic when considering he’s <180lb and he’ll likely fill out at 185lb. Impressive 17 reps at 225 there.
